I love making mixed media canvases, preferably with lots of colors and different mediums. I always prep the canvas with gesso before I superglue all the objects I want to use on the canvas. Afterwards I repaint everything with more white gesso, before I start using different mediums and paints. I usually use different sprays and mists, in addition to normal acrylic paint. To make items ‘pop’ I often try to highlight parts with posca pens or wax.
